We offer many different types of residential nursing care services to suit all needs and requirements including Alzheimer’s and Dementia nursing care, permanent residential nursing care and short-term respite nursing care. Our detailed care packages are created with support from families to ensure that each resident consistently receives the highest quality of care that is reflective of their individual and changing needs.

The services we provide at our nursing care home are of the highest quality and are provided by an outstanding team of experienced Registered Nurses (RGN’s) supported closely by our compassionate care team. There is at least one RGN leading every shift 24 hours a day to administer medical interventions and support residents with complex medical needs.

Our nursing home in Herefordshire offers a comfortable and professional environment in which we value the importance of communication between our staff, with residents and their families. Working together as a team allows us to strengthen and grow our relationships with our residents whilst we make life as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

When is residential nursing care required?

A nursing care home may be required at different stages of a person’s life, depending on their specific needs and conditions. For example, if someone has been diagnosed with a chronic illness or condition, they may require the services that nursing care homes can offer to help manage their symptoms and cope with the effects of their diagnosis.

This can include providing assistance with certain daily tasks, helping to manage medication and monitoring the individual’s health closely. Residential nursing care may also be required in situations where someone is recovering from an illness or injury, or has recently undergone surgery. In these cases, a nurse may help with pain management and provide assistance with important physical tasks like bathing, dressing and moving around safely.

At Holmer Manor Nursing Care Home, we want to ensure that each of our residents is able to receive the appropriate nursing care that they require.
